Dr. Bill Siegle, Former AMD Sr. Vice President, Manufacturing, and Chief Scientist, Joins Acorn Board of Advisors

Dr. Bill Siegle, formerly of IBM and AMD has joined the Board of Advisors of Acorn Technologies, Inc. Bill held numerous directorships, including Sematech, SRC, and with public companies Etec, and Dupont Photomask. Other members of the Board of Advisors to Acorn Technologies are Dr. Thomas Everhart, former President of the California Institute of Technology, Dr. Forest Baskett, now a General Partner with NEA and for many years the CTO of Silicon Graphs, Dr. Paul Mockapetris, formerly chairman of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) and the inventor of the Internet's Domain Name System (DNS), Dr. Yoshio Nishi former Chief Scientist at Texas Instruments, IEEE Robert Noyce Medal Winner, and director of the Nanofabrication Facility at Stanford University, and Dr. Ali Sayed, Professor and Chairman of Electrical Engineering at UCLA.
