Dr. Yoshio Nishi, Robert Noyce Medalist, Joins Acorn Board of Advisors

Dr. Yoshio Nishi, who received the semiconductor industry's top honor, the Robert Noyce Medal, last year, has joined the Board of Advisors of Acorn Technologies, Inc. Other members are Dr. Thomas Everhart, former President of the California Institute of Technology, Dr. Forest Baskett, now a Venture Partner with NEA and for many years the CTO of Silicon Graphs, and Dr. Paul Mockapetris, formerly chairman of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) and the inventor of the Internet's Domain Name System (DNS).

Dr. Nishi currently directs the Nanofabrication Facility at Stanford University.
